Goosemire Cottages offers a fine selection of 40 traditional Lake District cottages and Cumbria self catering holiday cottages for discerning visitors in various locations throughout the beautiful English Lake District and peaceful Eden Valley in Cumbria (Ranging from 1 to 7 bedrooms, sleeping up to 10).
Cottage Availability
Most are rustic 17th or 18th Century Cumbrian cottages or lovely barn conversions, where antiquity and modern comforts have been beautifully combined. Many of the lake district cottages have kept their original features and character such as exposed beams, deep window recesses, open log fires, and several have either lakeside frontage or lake views (Ullswater, Bassenthwaite, Bowness on Windermere and Rydal Water). The atmosphere and idiosyncrasies of each property are reflected on our website, and while some maybe more luxuriously appointed than others, all are carefully prepared and maintained.
We have 26 pet friendly lake district cottages where pets can stay for free. For those with allergies we have 14 cumbrian cottages that do not allow pets.
